Bespoke software is the one product line open to individuals. The process is the same as for a company: a call, a written scope and price, then the build, under a signed contract. What does Scout Agency sell?

What is Scout Systems, and what can I see today?
Scout Systems is a range of eight hosted products, sold singly, bundled or as the full suite. Only Scout Ledger is ready to see today. The other seven are planned and have no scope yet: Scout POS, CRM, FSM, WMS, HRMS, Property Management and Project Management.
Do you test security without permission?
No. No security test starts without your signed written authorisation, because testing a system without permission can be a crime under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Our cybersecurity work covers assessment, penetration testing and hardening, and it is sold as a project, a retainer or hourly work.
How does a bespoke project start?
With a short call. If we can help, we agree a signed master agreement, then a statement of work for the project. It sets the scope, milestones, acceptance criteria, price, and a time or budget ceiling. Nothing is built until you have agreed it in writing.
How much does it cost?
We do not publish prices, because the cost depends on the work. For bespoke projects the statement of work states the price and a time or budget ceiling. Scout Systems is a subscription with support included. We give you each figure in writing before you commit to anything.
Who owns the code we pay for?
You own the code once every sum due is paid in full. Until then Scout Agency owns it. Scout Agency keeps its own platform and any pre-existing components, and you use those under licence. This is written into the contract, and you can ask us about it before signing.
What happens after delivery?
Scout Systems subscriptions include support. For bespoke software we hand over the finished work with plain documentation, and any ongoing work is agreed separately in writing. Cybersecurity and cloud work can continue as a retainer or hourly work, under the same kind of written contract.
